Primark Haul!

Everything is from Primark!

Hello all!^^

I went to Brighton with my mum for some retail therapy, and I must admit, I did spend more than I had intended to! However, I'm glad that I bought everything in the end!

Firstly, I got some much needed knitted tights! They were £3 and I got them quite big so they didn't stretch out and become thin. The colour is perhaps not the most flattering - labelled 'oatmeal' and a creamy colour - but I'm bored of black tights and I think they can ruin an outfit sometimes. Plus, these tights feel wintery and I like to layer up in winter.

I'm not sure why this has rotated but oh well! I have been looking for a pale pink coat for a while so when I found this in Primark I had to get it! For £25 it's a great coat - the shape is very flattering and it's actually warmer and more substantial than a more expensive coat I have that looks much the same. I love the scalloped details and buckles, I think they look very feminine. In fact, I am wearing the coat now, as I write this, in a warm house! That's how much I love it^^

This blouse is gorgeous. It's sheer, ruffly and blush pink - the ultimate girly top! It also has bell sleeves which make it feel even more feminine. It's cut a little close but I don't mind. £10.

Finally, I got 2 new pairs of shoes. Well, I sort of cheated because my mum bought me the black ones as 'school shoes'. The beige pair were £4 and the black ones were £8. I don't expect they'll last long but the price is very good so I wouldn't have a problem with replacing them after a while. They are so comfy and I love the polka dots on the inner side of the beige ones! My appetite for ballet pumps has now been satisfied!

That's all for now, I hope you enjoyed!

Simple Monochrome

Hello all!^^

So first things first, I am so sorry that I haven't posted in such a long time! With mock exams, my birthday, my dance group and various other things, I just don't know where the time has gone. Anyway, enough with the excuses - I actually took these pictures about 3 weeks ago, but I can't remember the date so I'll just label it for today xD

Lace top - Gift
Skater skirt - New Look
Cardigan - Independent store
Tights - Primark
Necklace - River Island

I received this lace top as a gift from my godmother in America, and I love it so much! It's lace, for one, but I also think that the cut and shape is very flattering. It has an extremely low back, which is slightly uncomfortable, but it's unusual and it's also a great piece for layering.

Here's a better view of the actual
pattern :)
I've had the skirt for a while now and I love it. My waist is unusually high so I often find it hard to find a skirt that I can wear on my waist without it being too short. This skirt was from the Tall section at New Look, so it's a little longer than regular skater skirts, which is great for me! I wanted to achieve a pared-down look, so I kept with the monochrome theme by wearing a standard white cable-knit and some black tights. I chucked on my trusty genie lamp necklace for a little bit of change and that was my outfit!

Thanks for reading! I hope you enjoyed^^

New Shoes!

Hello everybody!
So I got some new shoes and I wanted to show you all them^^

So firstly...I GOT ANKLE BOOTS!! I was so happy when I found these, they were only £15 from Primark! They are so comfy, and they look really nice too, the sole is soft and they are very versatile. I could not be happier with them! If you're looking for some ankle boots I seriously recommend these, there were other styles and colours for reasonable prices in Primark too.

The other pair I got were from New Look. Ballet pumps! They were £15.99 so a little more than I would have liked but they feel sturdy and they are so pretty^^ The colour is versatile too.

So there you go, I hope you like them!
